RETURNS & EXCHANGES

If you find your The Mountain Project gear doesn’t fit, or you would like a different color or size, please send the item(s) back to us at the address below and we will be glad to process your request. We make a strict exception to this is a Print-On-Demand item. All Print On Demand item sales are final. Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges are strictly prohibited. 

If you know your order number, all you need to do is return the merchandise to us at the address below referencing your order number as your RMA on the packaging. Please include instructions as to what you would like (a refund or specifics on the exchange). If you do not know your order number, please contact us via EMAIL so we can sort it out for you. Please do not call us for an RMA. We are not often at the computer and cannot look up the information.

If your merchandise is wrong, damaged, or defective in some way, please send us an email and we’ll replace it for you, and send a return postage envelope to return the damaged merchandise back to us.

When returning merchandise, please include your order number (if known) and your full name, with instructions for exchange or refund. Typical turnaround time for returns/exchanges is about 1-2 weeks once we receive the item(s). For faster turnaround, please use an expedited shipping service. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If you need an exchange right away, consider buying the new item, and simply getting a refund on the item you’re sending back.

Please contact us for a physical address for any return that requires using FedEx or UPS.

If the original purchase was made with a credit card, we will credit the credit card for the returned item(s) upon receipt and confirmation of their condition. Items must be in original condition and must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Shipping charges are not refundable. If we are unable to exchange or repair the item to comply with your request, we may, at our discretion, issue a Gift Card.

Refusing an item at delivery is not an acceptable way to cancel your order. Items refused at delivery will be refunded for the purchase price minus our shipping cost and credit card processing fees.

RETURN POLICY

  • Print-On-Demand items are not eligible for refund or exchange. All sales are final.
  • Items purchased online may be returned or exchanged by mail only.
  • Returned items must be returned to The Mountain Project within 7 days (post marked from the day of delivery confirmation).
  • For a full refund returns must be made with the original receipt and merchandise must be in its original condition.
  • Returns by mail without a receipt require an order number, name and address.
  • Shipping & Handling fees are non-refundable, unless an item is damaged or defective.
  • Refusing an item with the shipper will result in a refund minus the costs of processing and fulfilling your order.
